What you will do?

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the development of the platform and the product. The position has high visibility both internally and externally and will require interaction with senior management. You will be involved, respected and challenged daily.

In this role, you will interact with diverse stakeholders, you are able to elicit, collect, challenge, consolidate, summarise requirements, and communicate them to our inhouse development teams. You will also work closely with the Product Owner, designers, testers, and developers, helping craft solutions that fit the needs of the users that you will know and understand so well.


Your main responsibilities: 

  • Drive alignment between stakeholders and leading change through bridging the gap between IT and the business.

  • Utilise industry experience and holistic thinking to facilitate the complex process of identifying and understanding business needs, proposing solutions, and brokering the final scope.

  • Work with Product colleagues and other subject matter experts to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

  • Proactively identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and system processes.

  • Conduct research through a variety of means to develop a deep understanding of users, the market, customers, suppliers, competitors, laws and trends.

  • Support Sales and Marketing to identify current and prospective product needs.

  • Increase efficiency through continuous process improvement through Lean principles. You will also coordinate and contribute to user acceptance testing.

  • Balance trade-offs with internal stakeholders and external partners between urgency, development time, usability and performance needs.

  • Nurture positive relationships, acting as a trusted counsel to question assumptions and consider risks and alternatives.

  • Aid retention and training through presentations, guides, and other technical documents.

Who are you? 

You are an experienced business analyst who is highly organized, technically proficient, and an elegant communicator, with an inquisitive mindset who loves getting stuck in the middle of complex situations. You have a pragmatic and straight-talking attitude.

You are able to collect, interpret and summarise complex information, articulating detailed insights in an efficient manner. You are capable of recognising assumptions and driving for justification behind statements and events. You have the ability to capture details without losing sight of the big picture, supported by a strong business acumen.


  • You have at least 2+ years' experience in business analysis, requirement analysis, product management for a digital product or other similar role.

  • You have at least 5+ years’ trucking industry experience, such as transport planning, brokerage or transport-related analytical role.

  • You have at least a Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical or business field, or a relevant quality industry certification e.g. APICS, CPCP, IREB, IIBA and/or Scrum certification.

  • You have advanced skills in the English language.

  • You have proven experience of collaborating and working with a variety of departments, stakeholders and vendors.

  • You have the ability to quickly grasp technology and use it to solve problems, also being able to understand the software development life cycle.
